She received her DDS degree from the University of Zulia in Venezuela and completed her pediatric residency at Louisiana State University, LSU. Being fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Echeverri has made multiple presentation in the USA and abroad. For more than 25 years, she has been affiliated with the Texas Children’s Hospital and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. At the UTHealth School of Dentistry, she mentors a new generation of pediatric dentists. She is a Fellow of the American Orthodontic Society, as well as a member of numerous other dental associations. He received his Certificate of Maxillofacial Prosthetic Dentistry from LSU School of Dentistry in 1989 and his DDS from UT-Houston in 1992. Fluent in Spanish and English, he has lectured in Colombia, Venezuela, and Spain, in addition to the US and has published articles in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the Journal of the American Orthodontic Society. His private practice in Houston focuses on a comprehensive approach to the treatment of patients, including restorative, prosthetic, and implant dentistry, as well as minor oral surgery and orthodontics. Newby, DDS, is a Diplomate of the AOS and has prac-ticed orthodontics for 30 years and has completed over 2,000 cases. He graduated from Wichita State University in 1976, and the Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1980. He has completed the Master Program in implant dentistry at the GIDE Institute in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Newby practices multidisciplinary dentistry in Mount Hope, KS, a small community outside of Wichita with his associate Katie L. Neidig, DDS, an AOS member. Marisa Grace Porter, oversees development of digital strategy for our dental practice marketing programs. As Chief of Creative Strategy and Senior Content Writer, Marisa is a storyteller at heart, and she thrives on telling a practice’s story. She does this by adding data points to the roadmap based on research, creativity and a deep understanding of truthful storytelling for the dental industry. Jose E. Turcios, DDS, grew up in El Salvador and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad Evangelica de El Salvador in 1998. During his time in dental school, he developed a great interest in the areas of Orthodontics, Endodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. He practiced dentistry in El Salvador for a short period of time before moving to the United States. After moving to the U.S. Dr. Turcios began practicing Dentistry in California where he worked for five years before moving to Arkansas, where he resides and practices today. He is a member and Diplomate of the American Orthodontic Society. An affiliate member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Association of Endodontists. In addition, Dr. Turcios is an active member of The American Dental Association and the Arkansas State Dental Association. During his free time, he enjoys traveling around the world, and spending time with friends and family. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. Dr. Turcios is married to Dr. Patricia F.
