Fig. 19a Fig. 21 Fig. 19b Fig. 22a Fig. 20 Fig. 22b Conclusion A crossbite is a severe deformity and represents a health issue. The condi-tion must be treated early and on time. Because the treatment timeframe to attain optimal results is early, it is appropriate to use procedures to aid the treatment and avoid making surgery the only option. The active treatment time in this case was from 7 to 9 years old and 11 to 12 years old. Reflecting on the initial presentation of the case before treatment, the patient suffered from sleep apnea and anxiety and had a genetic predisposition to a skeletal Class III malocclusion, which her father had surgically corrected. By starting treatment early, we modified the patient’s growth pattern and managed timely tooth eruption, a necessary step given her type of maloc-clusion. Without surgeries and using only simple, painless techniques, the patient achieved healthy sleep and breathing habits, an aesthetic smile, and functional occlusion (Fig. 21). After following up with the patient at 13 years old, we noted stability in the achieved results. (Figs. 22a & 22b) References 1. Tong, M., X. Xia, and E.
