Dr. Chris Baker’s new iOrtho class, Comprehensive Interception Orthodontics and Craniofacial Orthopedics, begins Jan. 13-14 in San Antonio. This four-session course will equip the attendee with a confident understanding of the biologic basis of growth and development, tooth move-ment and functional appliances, diag-nosis and efficient clinical application. Learn to harness and orthopedically redirect growth to normalize appear-ance and function early. “Phase I and done!” Remaining session dates are March 2-3, April 20-21, June 29-30. (76 total CE hours) The new and improved Orthodon-tics in Today’s Dental Practice begins January 20-21 in Dallas. Taught by Dr. Bill Wyatt and Dr. Larry White, this intermediate concepts and tech-niques course is our only session-by-session offering and covers everything from patient consultation and diag-noses, treatment planning and thera-pies to identifying the different classes of malocclusions to archwire construc-tion and wire bending. This six-session course consists of Thursday – Friday lecture and hands-on and Saturday in-office practice on live patients. This program is designed for dentists with little or no experience in orthodontics who want to incorporate it into their practice or progress from removable appli-ances to a comprehensive, fixed tech-nique. Session dates: March 1-3, Apr. 26-28, June 21-23, Aug. 23-25, Oct. 18-20, Nov. 29 -Dec. 1. (120 total CE hours) Dr. Joseph Schmidbauer’s Compre-hensive Orthodontic Education in Atlanta is a hands-on experience! This five-session course will teach the attendee case selection, proper diagno-sis, orthodontic records, predictable non-extraction treatment mechanics, and case finishing.
