Figs. 15 and 16 show the patient skeletally to be a severe Class II with an ANB of 8.1 degrees and WITS of 7 mm. Her GoGn to SN was 33.4 degrees. No Pogonion growth was remaining. Treatment began in March 2010 with a Jackson straight wire series followed through to a .019 x .015 SS arch wires. On August 11 2010, a Twin 22 July/August 2013 JAOS Force Appliance was placed (Figs. 17 & 18). Note in Fig. 18 the immediate profile change that occurred with the Twin Force in place. Prior to placement, an upper and lower .019 x 025 SS arch wire was placed in August 2011 with the distal ends of the arch wires bent gingivally to make the upper and lower arches closed systems – no slide could take place any longer in the wires. Basically two anchors were established. Also a lower Fixed Remov-able Lingual Arch was place for additional anchorage.
