There’s still time to register for The Empowered Advanced course for assistants in Dallas (in conjunction with the last two sessions of Dr. David Jackson’s Next Steps ) August 12-14 and September 9-11. This two-session Level II course is hands-on and covers place-ment of appliances, accentuated curves in arch wires, cross arch elas-tics, long ligatures for anchorage, and the business side of orthodon-tics! (16 CE hours per session) In the early fall, two excellent basic comprehensive courses will get underway. Dr. David Jackson will begin his basic straight wire course, The Missing Piece , in Dallas September 16-18 and in Houston September 23-25. This four session lecture and participa-tion class focuses on learning and implementing a proven system for orthodontic treatment on children and adults. Areas covered will be interceptive orthodontics, transi-tional orthodontics, and Phase I into Phase II. Subsequent sessions are in November 2011, January 2012, and concluding in February 2012. (20 CE hours per session) Our other basic comprehensive class, Orthodontics & Craniofa-cial Orthopedics , will be conducted by Dr. Chris Baker beginning September 16-17 in Baltimore. This five session course will also be offered in Phoenix beginning September 23-24. Leave this lecture and participation course with a complete understanding of the biologic basis of tooth move-ment and functional appliances, mechanical principles, diagnosis, and efficient clinical application, enabling you to provide quality long-term care in an affordable, profitable manner. Course concludes in May 2012. (20 CE hours per session) November 4-6 will find Dr. David Jackson in Dallas conducting his Connection Update . This weekend lecture class will focus on molar distalization vs. mandibular repositioning. Stay connected and up-to-date! (20 CE hours) November 4-6 will also find Robin Schmidbauer leading a Basic Assistants course in Atlanta.
