overlay the pretreatment and post treatment cephalo-metric images on the S-N line. 9 After the maxillary incisors were properly torqued and intruded (Fig. 17) the mandible advanced forward from a full Class II maloc-clusion to a bilateral Class I platform (spontaneous orthopedic correction). A post treatment profile view of the patient demonstrates a well balanced face both hori-zontally (Fig. 15-A) and vertically (Fig. 18). After the maxilla has been developed properly (i.e., proper width, no crowding, ideal incisor position, etc.) there are cases that remain Class II.
