(13 CDE hours) Dr. Brad Williams’ Case Finish-ing will be held in Dallas Nov. 20 & 21. Every part of this class is rigorously documented with multi-ple cases so participants can see all choices and decisions leading to the final result. Topics include: Nita-nium Palatal Expander 2 and other expansion options, Multi-Distaliz-ing Arch (MDA) and other reposi-tioning appliances, and case refine-ment. (15 CDE hours) Susan Coffey, RDA, offers her Basic Orthodontic Assistant Training Course again Jan. 8 – 10, 2016 in Dallas. The Basic course covers understanding of instruments, proper record-taking, correct placement of brackets and wires and patient care of braces. (20 CDE hours) Drs. (14 CDE hours) Dr. Jay Gerber’s new two-session Comprehensive Mechanics Workshop , being held at the Henry Schein facility in Carlsbad, CA, has been moved due to a scheduling conflict. Session 1, covering every-thing from arch wire sequencing to case finishing (21.5 CDE hours), is now Jan. 14-16, 2016, Session 2, which focuses on fixed functional appliances, including MDA and Verti-cal Retention Tubes (13 CDE hours), has been moved to March 11 & 12. Dr. Ralph Nicassio will conduct a two-day class in Dallas Feb. 19 & 20 on Vertical Considerations and How to Correct Gingival Display .
