Robert G. Gerety Our teacher, mentor and friend, Dr. Bob Gerety passed away peaceably on Monday, December 18th in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. “Big Bob,” as most knew him, taught dentists across the country to create smiles that made a difference and influenced the careers of thousands of dentists. He was a leader in this organization, serving as Presi-dent, long-time board member, board examiner, and winner of every award this association can offer. For eighteen years, our Foundation has sponsored the Dr. Robert Gerety Scholarship at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
