AOS MEMBERSHIP NEWS New Year, New Look: AOS Logo Rebranding You may have noticed that our characteristic American Orthodontic Society logo, used since 1975, has changed with this issue of the Journal, and it will soon appear on all materials that you receive. Our classic logo was still relevant and still identi-fied us to thousands of our members, past and present. However, as with any business entity, times and styles change and organizations must be willing to change accordingly, or risk a perception of being outdated. Your Board of Directors and Staff reviewed many options with the criteria of our new logo being fresh-looking, high energy and, most importantly, reflective of who we are. After much consideration, we believe we have found that distinctive brand through which the world views us. Our courses are cutting edge, relevant to a changing dental landscape, and always ahead of traditional educational institu-tions. We believe we have a logo that reflects that image, now and for the foreseeable future. We hope you agree and choose to embrace the AOS’s new logo on your local advertising and in your office. Our staff can provide copies for your professional use. Re-branding does not mean we have changed --the AOS is the same great organiza-Paul L.
