By Tom Chapman, CAE, AOS Executive Director T he AOS membership gathered together this past October 6-9 for its Annual Meeting on the “River” in San Antonio. If you were not there, you missed out on one of the top tier destina-tions in America, the San Antonio Riverwalk, with its historic culture, stunning architecture, and vibrant night life. Combine these attractions with a stellar educational program and you have another outstanding meeting. Educational highlights included sessions from Dr. Larry, White, Dr. Thomas Shipley, Dr. Debra Ettle-Resnick, Dr. David Resnick, Dr. Chris Baker and Larry Oxenham. A full exhibit hall allowed our industry partners to engage interested members in the latest dental technology with special show discounts when classes were not in session. AOS member outings to the popu-lar La Fonda on Main restaurant and the Cowboy’s Dance Hall made for great eating and great dancing in Texas. Join us for next year’s annual meeting that will be held September 14-17 in Clearwater Beach, Florida for outstanding education and even better beaches. 38 Winter 2017 JAOS
