AGpO MEMBERSHIP NEWS Advanced Tip-Edge Four-Session On Demand Webinar Coming Soon The Academy has put together a four session advanced lecture course to help take your Tip-Edge orthodontic practice to the next level. Due to the current pandemic, the Academy has changed this course from a live presentation to an online webinar. Dr. Gerhardt taught this course as a live webinar on July 31-August 1, 2020. This advanced course is intended for graduates of the 12-session, hands-on course as well as expe-rienced Tip-Edge practitioners. Dr. Gerhardt discusses diagnosis and how to better think about and simplify diagnosis from the early mixed dentition to adult cases. In addition, he reviews and updates techniques involved with the Differential Straight Arch Tech-nique, discusses treating anterior crossbites, techniques for opening bites as well as mixed dentition treatment and unusual cases. Online Ohio Study Club The Academy has put together its first online ongoing orthodontic course. The Ohio Study Club will feature eight monthly two – hour Zoom meetings (September – April) covering advanced topics with live question and answer sessions as well. Without the worry of travel or lodging you will be able to earn 24 CE hours for only $1900. The Zoom meetings will be taught by Dr. Milton Ntragatakis who is the current host of the Academy’s 12-Session Comprehensive Hands-on Course in Brunswick, Ohio. Dr. Milton has actively practiced orthodontics for the past 10 years and graduated in 2006 from Case Western Reserve University, where he also studied for two additional years to earn his Pediatric Dental training and degree.
