AOS MEMBERSHIP NEWS Luxurious Education; Continue Your Ortho Knowledge in San Diego An association’s annual membership meetings are where you expand knowledge, gain experience and build friendships. They are unique times each year set aside to allow like-minded people to gather and learn from each other. Coming together is a mutually bene-ficial time for the membership and the association. Unfortunately, the AOS did not have that chance last year as Hurricane Irma doused our plans in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Let’s make up for the lost experience and commit to attend the Annual Meeting, September 13-16 in beautiful San Diego, CA. The keynote speaker on Thursday morning is by Dr. Gordon Christensen, followed by four days of continuing education ---enhanced by the beauty and location of Paradise Point Resort that gives you extra incentive to register and attend our first annual meet-ing in two years. Many of you were registered last year for Clearwater Beach, so your registrations are already secured for this year. Paul L. Winborn, II, DDS Please invite your dental friends AOS President to learn how to Create Smiles That Make A Difference. Excellent continuing educa-tion and the beautiful Paradise Point will prove to be THE meeting of 2018. Let’s learn and let’s celebrate our American Orthodontic Society. Finally, I want to express my sincere appreciation for having been given the opportunity to serve this great organization as your President. To my Board colleague’s and AOS staff, thanks for all your support and assistance. I will turn over the leader-ship reigns to Dr. Kimberly Suter in San Diego and know that the AOS will be in enthusiastic and capa-ble hands. See you at our annual meeting! Paul L.
