He received his Certificate of Maxillofacial Prosthetic Dentistry from LSU School of Dentistry in 1989 and his DDS from UT-Houston in 1992. Fluent in Spanish and English, he has lectured in Colombia, Venezuela, and Spain, in addition to the US and has published articles in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the Journal of the American Orthodontic Society. His private practice in Houston focuses on a comprehensive approach to the treatment of patients, including restorative, prosthetic, and implant dentistry, as well as minor oral surgery and orthodontics. Dr. Echeverri is a Diplomate of the AOS and the AOS Immediate Past President. Kyle McCrea, DDS, has practiced in the Houston, TX area since 1990 and in Richmond, VA since 1994. Dr. McCrea is a graduate of Texas A&M University and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. He received further training at the General Practice Residency Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In 2007, Dr. McCrea completed the Academy of GP Orthodontics’ 12-Session Comprehensive Hands-On Course. Since 2013, he has assisted Dr. Robert Allen’s 12-Session class and received his Diplomate from the Academy of GP Orthodontics. He serves on the Academy’s Board of Directors and was the Academy’s president in 2013. Additionally, Dr. McCrea is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Texas School Of Dentistry in Houston, teaching in the AEGD and the GPR programs. And in 2013, he became part of the Memorial Herman Hospital Staff to supervise residents providing dental treatment in the operating room. Randy K. Newby, DDS, is a Diplomate of the AOS and has practiced orthodontics for 30 years and has completed over 2,000 cases. He graduated from Wichita State University in 1976, and the Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1980. He has completed the Master Program in implant dentistry at the GIDE Institute in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Nicassio has main-tained a private practice in Norwalk, CA for over 25 years. Dr. Nicassio is a member of AOS, he has taught 750 days of continuing education in 19 different countries internationally and throughout United States and Canada. For over 20 years he was the lead tenured instructor for Progressive Orthodontics. He has been a consultant for fellow general dentists all over the world and has diagnosed over 40,000 comprehensive orthodontic cases. For the past 3 years Dr. Nicassio has been an instructor for Henry Schein Orthodontics teaching a comprehensive and advanced orthodontic course. His focus is on practical solutions emphasizing diagnosis of orthodontic and prosthodontic cases. Maria Zavala, RDA, BA, has earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University, Long Beach. Maria graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at Cerritos College in 1991 and lives in Lakewood, California. With over 20 years of experience in the dental field Maria currently works in a general dental practice and orthodontics. Maria has over 3 years of teaching experience in orthodontics program for dental assistants and currently works with general doctors doing in office consultations.
