(18 CDE hours) Dr. Elsa Echeverri and Dr. Ed Gonzalez are teaming up again for their multi-faceted Early Orthodontic Treatment and Sedation for the General and Pediatric Dentist. This year, they will be presenting their two-day class in Alexandria, VA, August 11 -12. Dr. Echeverri will cover oral sedation, local anesthesia tech-niques, and restorative dentistry for the child patient. Dr. Gonzalez will teach diagnosis, treatment plan-ning, and early treatment Phase I ortho, allowing the practitioner the option of treating without having to progress into fully-banded Phase II. (14 CDE hours) If you missed the beginning of Dr. Brad Williams’ Basic Straight Wire course in Orlando, which began back in the Spring, never fear! He will conduct another Basic in Dallas beginning the first week-end in October. Newly revamped and updated, this five-session course is designed to get you started in orthodontics. Learn everything from necessary record keeping to cephalometrics to banding and bracketing Phase I and Phase II malocclusions using the Straight Wire orthodontic appliance system.
