AGpO MEMBERSHIP NEWS Privileged To Serve the AGpO AGpO’s Annual Meeting will be in the Dallas/Plano, TX area on September 16-17th this year. My wife enjoys coming to the AGpO meetings because they are always held in cities, with great accommodations. The classes are held at the same venue, which makes it very conve-nient as well. The featured speakers at this year’s meeting will be Gerry Samson, Ron Austin, and Peter Buschang. Gerry Samson and Ron Austin will be lecturing on Tip-Edge vs. Straight Wire and clinical problem-solving. Peter Buschang will be speaking on growth and development. These gentlemen are top-notch instructors, you will take away useful tips that you can use immediately in your practice. Not to mention being entertained as well. The Academy is poised to have our best year ever in 2016 due to strong course demand. We are starting hands-on courses in the following new locations: Orlando, FL; Seattle, Steven Bradley, DDS AGpO President WA; Edmonton, Alberta; and Ottawa, Ontario. Make your reservations for the assistants training with Dr. Charles Young that will be held in Plano, Texas on July 21-24. (Instructor) The comprehensive two year, hands-on Toronto Orthodontic Course for 2014-2016 graduated twelve Doctors on April 15, 2016, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They included Dr, Kevian Ansar-ian, Dr. Oliver Cabrera, Dr. Laura De Luca, Dr. Basem Ghadban, Dr. Hesam Khodaei, Dr. Daphne Kwan, Dr. Masoud Mardassi, Dr. Rebecca Riojas -Ozturk, Dr. Sydney Reyes, Dr. JoAnne Rochon, Dr. Fares Sbaiti, Dr. George Vouromikos. All the doctors completed the Academy's 12-session course and earned a minimum of 155 CDE hours in orthodontics and related topics. All doctors achieved the Associ-ate Fellowship level of the Academy of Gp Orthodontics Tier Achieve-ment Program.
