Carapezza, DMD is a Diplomate of the AOS and has over 25 years of clinical experience in pediatric orthodontics and operates a successful private practice in Wayland, MA. He has degrees from Brandeis University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He served as a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and received a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Children’s Hospital. Dr. Carapezza is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine and a contributing editor to the Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry . His lecture experience includes the Senior Certified Instructor for both the American Orthodontic Society (AOS) and International Association for Orthodontics (IAO). Jeffery Gerhardt, DDS, practices general dentistry and orthodontics in Cedar Park, TX. Graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988 and the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio in 1992, he acquired two years of continuing education in orthodontics with the Academy of Gp Orthodontic in 1998 and gained Invisalign certificating in 2002. Dr. Gerhardt is an orthodontic instructor for the Academy of Gp Orthodontics, publishing numerous articles on the subject. He is a member of the ADA, TDA, Capital Area Dental Association and the Academy of Gp Orthodontics. Randy K. Newby, DDS, is a Diplomate of the AOS and has practiced orthodontics for 30 years and has completed over 2,000 cases. He gradu-ated from Wichita State University in 1976, and the Creighton Univer-sity School of Dentistry in 1980. He has completed the Master Program in implant dentistry at the GIDE Institute in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Newby practices multidisciplinary dentistry in Mount Hope, KS, a small community outside of Wichita with his associate Katie L. Neidig, DDS, an AOS member. Alan Rodrigues is a Professor and Science Director of the European Orthodontic Center. He has always had to balance the objective of moving teeth and supporting structures in a biologically compatible manner to provide patients with a functional occlusion along with a healthy TMJ and supporting structures, while patients, of course, want fast treatment, no extractions, no metal braces, and a beautiful smile. These goals are not mutually exclusive. The MTB and the CRYSTAL 3D clear self -ligating bracket system can offer excellent esthetic results. Dr. Rodrigues is CEO of the Self Ligating University and author of the book, “Clinical and Tomographic Evidence in Treatments With Self Ligating Brackets”. Allan Rotberg, DDS, is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Orthodontic Society, received his Diplomate award from the AOS in 2014, and was the 2014 recipient of the Robert G. Gerity Case of the Year award also from the AOS. He graduated with honors and distinctions from Universidad Tecnológica de México (UNITEC) School of Dentistry, in Mexico City, Mexico and also received his Pediatric Dentistry specialty degree from the same institution. However, before attending Dental School, he graduated with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, in PaloAlto, California. Dr. Allan was a faculty member of UNITEC University School of Dentistry, where he taught Microbiology to undergraduate Dental students, and also a faculty member of Universidad Latinoamericana, where he tought First Phase Orthodontics to the Pediatric Dentistry residents in the post-graduate residency program.
