Carapezza, DMD, is a Diplomate of the AOS and has over 50 years of clinical experience in pediatric orthodontics and operates a successful private practice in Wayland, MA. He has degrees from Brandeis University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He served as a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and received a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Children’s Hospital. Dr. Carapezza is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine and a contributing editor to the Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry . His lecture experience includes the Senior Certified Instructor for both the American Orthodontic Society (AOS) and International Association for Orthodontics (IAO). Johnson completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado and his board certification in 2021. He remains with the Air Force a reservist and is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has a passion for treating TMJ disorders and has been involved with numerous publications and lectures on TMDs. As part of Dahm Dental, he serves the community in Pella, IA, and surrounding area. Matthew Standridge, DDS, FAGD, FICOI, is a private practice general dentist in rural Kansas and a member of the AOS. His practice includes a vari-ety of advanced services, such as straightwire orthodontics, clear aligner ther-apy via in-house fabrication and Invisalign, 3D printing, in-office milling, and guided implant surgery. Susan Tiede, DDS, is a pediatric dentist, educator, and advocate with more than 30 years of experience. She earned her BS in biology from St. Louis University in 1986 and her DDS from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1991. After dental school, she joined the U.S. Navy and completed a general practice residency at Naval Hospital Oakland in Califor-nia. Following six years of military service, she continued her work with the Indian Health Service. In 2003, she completed her pediatric dental certificate at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and served as the pediatric dentist on the Black-feet Indian Reservation. In 2004, Tiede founded Missoula Pediatric Dentistry, where she has built a practice centered on positive, compassionate experiences for children. She is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, a fellow of the American Orthodontic Society, a board member of both the American Orthodontic Society and Creighton University School of Dentistry, and a part-time professor of pediatric dentistry at Creighton. In 2023, she received honors recognizing her teaching and clinical excellence. Brad Williams, DDS, graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1982. While in school, he was a contributing clinician to the Herbert T. Shillingburg, Jr., DDS, textbook entitled Restoration of Endodontically Treated Teeth . He has practiced general dentistry since 1982 and general practice orthodontics since 1983. Williams is active in the AOS, having previously served on the Board of Directors. In 2009, he was awarded AOS Fellowship and became a member of the AOS Academy of Diplomates in 2010. He is the AOS Senior Instructor for the basic and intermediate courses in Non-Extraction Straight Wire Orthodontics previously taught by the late Dr. David Jackson and Dr. Robert Gerety and teaches two alternating update courses for the AOS each year. Williams has taught for the AGD master track program in Texas and Oklahoma and has lectured on orthodontics and temporary anchorage devices at the Texas Dental Association meetings held in San Antonio.
