It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. The chase begins as the lion sets its sights on a chosen gazelle, springing forward in a burst of raw energy. The gazelle sensing danger, leaps into action, its slender limbs propelling it across the plains in a desperate bid for escape. It doesn’t matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle…when the sun comes up, you’d better be running. For the lion, every hunt is a test of skill, strategy and strength. The gazelle in turn relies on its swiftness and endurance. Whether you choose to be a gazelle or a lion is of no consequence, with the rising of the sun, you must run to stay competitive and survive. In order to stay competitive so that you can outrun that “lion” and survive and thrive, you need to keep your practice and skills in shape.
