Huffman, DDS, FAGD, is a Diplomate in the AOS and has prac-ticed general dentistry and orthodontics for over 20 years. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston in 1994. He took Dr Gerety's Straight Wire course in 1995. He immediately found a passion for orthodontics and has since completed over 750 cases. In 2013, he received Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Newby, DDS, is a Diplomate of the AOS and has practiced orthodontics for 30 years and has completed over 2,000 cases. He graduated from Wichita State University in 1976, and the Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1980. Dr. Nicassio has main-tained a private practice in Norwalk, CA for over 25 years. Dr. Nicassio is a member of AOS, he has taught 750 days of continuing education in 19 different countries internationally and throughout United States and Canada. For over 20 years he was the lead tenured instructor for Progressive Orthodontics. He has been a consultant for fellow general dentists all over the world and has diagnosed over 40,000 comprehensive orthodontic cases. For the past 3 years Dr. Nicassio has been an instructor for Henry Schein Orthodontics teaching a comprehensive and advanced orthodontic course. His focus is on practical solutions emphasizing diagnosis of orthodontic and prosthodontic cases. Panomitros DDS, MA, JD, LLM, is a practicing dentist and licensed attorney. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and holds a Juris Doctor as well as an LLM. Dr. Panomitros currently has faculty appointments both at Loyola University Medi-cal School’s General Practice Dental Residency Program and the University of Illinois, School of Public Health. Previously, Dr. Panomitros was a clinical assis-tant professor at the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry’s Restorative Department. In addition to instructing advanced head and neck anatomy , Dr. Panomitros has taught pharmacology, ethics, dental materials, tooth anatomy, and oral medicine. He currently is a dental board examiner for CDCA, CRDTS, WREB, and CITA. He holds Fellowships in both the Academy of General Dentistry and the American College of Legal Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the International College of Oral Implantologists, and is a member of both the American Dental Association and American Bar Association. Diego F. Tatis, DDS is the former Chief Director of the post-graduate orthodontic program of Colegio Odontologico Colombiana for over 10 years, and has been a post-graduate visiting professor of continuing orthodontic education in Mexico, Madrid and Republic of Argentina. Dr. Tatis is the creator of the Orthokinetic Philosophy and has authored four books on the topic. Maria Zavala, RDA, BA, has earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University, Long Beach. Maria graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at Cerritos College in 1991 and lives in Lakewood, California. With over 20 years of experience in the dental field Maria currently works in a general dental practice and orthodontics. Maria has over 3 years of teaching experience in orthodontics program for dental assistants and currently works with general doctors doing in office consultations.
