Her parents only wanted the thumb habit addressed. I placed a Rake Appliance for seven months. I lost track of the patient until she suddenly showed up four years later. I asked her where she had her braces done and she responded she had no further orthodontics other than the Rake. Her teeth were not perfect but she exhibited a solid dental Class I (Figs. 35-42).
