By Tom Chapman, CAE, AOS Executive Director he AOS and the AGpO brought their two orga-nizations together this past August for another combined annual meeting. With a background of Chicago, and a stellar educa-tional program for attendees, this meeting was a rousing success. A room full of indus-try partners were able to show their newest products to an interested audience when classes were not in session. From “Chicago gang-ster-style” theater to Michael T Jordan “sitings”, there was plenty to do and see for everyone. While the doctor’s learned the newest in tech-niques, their spouses and guests enjoyed a Segway tour, and competed in a “tastefully delicious” iron-chef competi-tion. Plan now for the next year’s Annual Meeting. The AOS’ will be in Denver, August 7-10, while the AGpO will conduct theirs in Denver, as well, September 5-6. See all of you there!
