Lauderdale. 48 September/October 2010 JAOS Dr. David Jackson’s The Missing Piece – Basic Straight Wire course, which began in Dallas this September, there’s good news! The second round of this popular four-session lecture course begins in Houston Oct. 1-3. It will continue the weekends of Nov. 19-21, Jan. 28-30, 2011, and finish on Feb. 25-27. Likewise, if you missed the first week-end of Dr. Chris Baker’s Orthodontics And Craniofacial Orthopedics Comprehensive Class in Phoenix this September, you can catch the first session of round #2 October 1st and 2nd in Baltimore. This five-session lecture and participation course continues in November of this year, then January, February and April of 2011. Dr. Baker and Dr. Gil Carney’s Orthodontics And Craniofacial Orthopedics Mastermind Class begins November 19-20 in Houston. This lecture and participation course is the natural progression from Dr. Baker’s Comprehensive Course, and like the Comprehensive, is also 20 credit hours per session. Mrs. Kay Gerety will conduct her Basic Assistants’ Course in Atlanta November 12-14 in conjunction with the fourth session of Dr. Schmidbauer and Dr. Balvich’s Comprehensive Orthodontic Education Course. This is the best way to train your staff to be the most proficient chairside assis-tants they can be. And, of course, the AOS Annual Meeting is rapidly approaching! Please join us in Houston October 28-31 for the opportunity to gain 25 hours of CE, discuss tough cases with colleagues, mix and mingle with old friends and make some new ones! Looking ahead to January, Dr. Larry White and Dr. William Wyatt, Sr. will present their lecture and participation class, Orthodontics in Today’s Dental Practice – Concepts and Techniques. The session-by-session class will also be offered in March, April and May of 2011 by two of our most experienced instructors. In February, Dr. Leonard Carapezza will conduct his Early Treatment of Malocclusion weekend class in Phoenix! This lecture and hands-on course will give the clinician the ability to treat 90% of the common dento-alveolar problems that are evident in 7 of 10 pediatric patients. Much more ahead in 2011…
