A hands-on course was completed March 18, 2011, and was hosted by Dr. Greg Cannizzo, who has been a host for the Academy’s 12-session comprehensive hands on course since 2001. The fourth two-year course will take place starting in September 2011. To date, 39 doctors have completed the course at the McHenry, IL site. During the last ten years, Dr. Cannizzo’s office provided the patients for all doctors receiving their training at this site. He has also encouraged local doctors to bring in their patients of records as well. A special thanks to host staff members Patti Frett and Jayna Frett, dental assistants; Ann Pauley, secretary and administra-tive assistance; Maura Frederick, office manager for their assistance in the coordinating duties for the course, the secretarial support and the clinical support. They all worked to make the clinical portion of this two-year hands-on course possible.
