The world begins to wake up; flowers start to appear and blossom; trees start to bud; and baseball season begins. You have a chance with your dental practice to step up to the plate and take a good look at what’s going to be thrown at you during the second half of this year.We know this pitcher -- - he’s been throwing junk at us for a while: a soft economy, recession and global slow down. Whatever you want to call it, we’ve battled through every- thing that has come across the plate. Now the pitcher is getting tired. His fastball doesn’t have the same velocity that it did last year.We can dig in and do more than just make contact. We can start hitting the ball into the gaps and begin piling up some extra base hits. We can start putting together a winning game plan by making sure we have the skills we need. As Yogi Berra once said, “If you don’t know where you are going, you might windup some place else.” Let’s make sure we have the best equipment and sharpened skills to put a large number of marks in the win column.
