On April 9, 2010, fourteen doctors finished their comprehensive two- year, hands-on course in Cedar Park, TX. All doctors completed the Academy’s 12 session comprehensive hands-on course and earned a mini- mum 155 CDE hours in orthodontics and related topics. To achieve the Associate Fellowship level of the Academy of GP Orthodontics’ Tier Advancement Program, the doctors would need to complete a minimum of three cases during the hands-on course, followed by passing a written and oral examination administered by course instruc- tor, Dr. Jeffery Gerhardt. AGpO Receives CERP & PACE Approval AGpO was approved for renewal of their ADA CERP recognition. Through an application process, the ADA CERP evaluates and recognizes institu- tions and organizations that provide continuing dental education. Only providers that can meet ADA CERP standards and procedures are granted approval and are authorized to use the ADA CERP logo. In addition, AGpO also received AGD PACE recognition. PACE-approved CE provider’s courses are approved for maintaining AGD membership and toward achieving AGD’s prestigious Fellowship (FAGD) and Mastership (MAGD) awards.
