At the time of removal of active orthodontic appliances, the impression for the fabrication of a more definitive crown was made. The final crown was placed in position and adjusted as necessary before cementation. At the time of delivery of the prosthetic crown, the removable Hawley retainer was adjusted. Tooth # 7 had been restored previ-ously with a direct bonded composite. In conclu-sion, all steps are important as they demonstrate a combination of periodontal, surgical and prosthetic procedures that combined to give the patient an anchored restoration for the ultimate enhancement of his quality of life.
