AGpO MEMBERSHIP NEWS AGpO Focuses On Early Treatment in Houston Samuel L. Gutovitz, DDS AGpO President I hope you are all having a great summer! There are so many exciting things going on with AGpO! Dr. Greg Cannizzo continues to work tirelessly to bring us an amazing journal with many helpful articles to make our cases go more smoothly with better results. Speaking of better results with our orthodontic cases, Dr. Ron Austin's Advanced Tip-Edge Course, held on July 13-14 had 10 graduates attend. I am sure they returned to their practices with a wealth of knowledge. Hats off to all of our course instruc-tors. Three courses have graduated several new doctors over the last six weeks. Thanks again to our Executive Director Adam Griswold and the Executive Director Emeritus Cynthia Bordelon for all of their hard work to make AGpO so successful! Don't forget that Dr. Charles Young will be teaching the Academy's three-day Assistant’s Course in Plano, TX on July 23-29, 2012. An optional study session on cephalometric tracing and model analysis will also be available. Now, I would really like to focus on our excit-ing upcoming Annual Meeting to be held this September 21-23, in Houston, TX. We all know how important early diagnosis and treatment timing can be. Pediatric and early treatment will be the two-day lecture topic featuring Dr. Keith Wilkerson and Dr. Lenny Carapezza. Both doctors are pediatric dental specialists who also offer orthodontic treatment to their patients. Also, Dr. Joseph O'Neil will speak on marketing as part of the new Dr. Charles D. Yates Lecture Series, which again is free to all members. It's definitely going to be a tremendous meeting and it will be great to see old friends, make new friends, and spark added enthusiasm to our orthodontic practices. Hope to see you there!
