ORTHO BITES Fig. 11 Fig. 8 shows the LL1 in the arch. I placed .016 x .022 Nitinol at this appointment. Figs. 9 and 10 demon-strate placing labial root torque the next month in the LL1 to bring the root labial. This is accomplished in .016 x .022 SS, with the root torquing plier and key (Ortho Organizers). I also show in these figures, smoothing the distals of the lower arch wire with a polishing wheel to allow an easier insertion into the molar tubes. Fig. 11 shows the upper arch with excess arch length in the Turbo wire, with Power chain from UR6 to UR 2 and UL6 to UL4 to open up the space for the erupting UL3. Figs. 12 -14 show the retention and final root torquing of the teeth with the finishing arch wire, the .018 x .025 SS.
