Carapezza, DMD, is a Diplomate of the AOS and has over 50 years of clinical experience in pediatric orthodontics and operates a successful private practice in Wayland, MA. He has degrees from Brandeis University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He served as a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and received a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Children’s Hospital. Dr. Carapezza is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine and a contributing editor to the Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry . His lecture experience includes the Senior Certified Instructor for both the American Orthodontic Society (AOS) and International Association for Orthodontics (IAO). She received her DDS degree from the University of Zulia in Venezuela and completed her pediatric residency at Louisiana State University, LSU. Being fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Echeverri has made multiple presentation in the USA and abroad. For more than 25 years, she has been affiliated with the Texas Children’s Hospital and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. At the UTHealth School of Dentistry, she mentors a new generation of pediatric dentists. She is a Fellow of the American Orthodontic Society, as well as a member of numerous other dental associations. Juan Carlos Echeverri, DDS, after earning his DDS in his native country of Colombia, Dr. Echeverri moved to the US to pursue graduate studies. He received his Certificate of Maxillofacial Prosthetic Dentistry from LSU School of Dentistry in 1989 and his DDS from UT-Houston in 1992. Fluent in Spanish and English, he has lectured in Colombia, Venezuela, and Spain, in addition to the US and has published articles in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the Journal of the American Orthodontic Society. His private practice in Houston focuses on a comprehensive approach to the treatment of patients, including restorative, prosthetic, and implant dentistry, as well as minor oral surgery and orthodontics. Dr. Echeverri is a Diplomate of the AOS and an AOS Past President. Ricardo Medellin, DDS, MSD, graduated with honors from the National University Dental School in Mexico City. He received his orthodontic training and Masters in Science Degree from the same University. He has been teaching orthodontics in the most important universities inside and outside his country for 25 years. He has taught, Tip-Edge, Alexander, and Damon as well as the use of mini-implants in orthodontics. He has lectures in many countries, such as Mexico, USA, Cuba, Costa Rica, Columbia, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina. Ecuador, Germany, Switzerland, Dubai, and Spain. He has also written several clinical and scientific articles on orthodontic topics such as diagno-sis, miniscrews and the Tip-Edge Plus Technique. Nate Porter is the Chief Marketing Officer at Jameson Management. He has spent the past decade of his career exploring online marketing techniques and strategies in the context of local, service based businesses. His strategies often run counter to mainstream thinking on marketing and have proven very successful in growing brand reach and acquiring new clients. Prior to his role at Jameson, Nate has led several marketing startups to success and acquisition so he understands the ins and outs of building and running a small service-based business.
