He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1991 and completed an AEGD resi-dency program at the University of North Carolina in 1992. After completing his residency program, he joined Dr. Jim Dahm in practice in 1992. Jeff has completed the Dawson Academy curriculum for restorative dentistry and is currently a member of the Seattle Study Club program. His passions are helping children with their facial growth and development and the combination of orthodontic care and restorative dentistry for the broken down dentition. Newby, DDS, is a Diplomate of the AOS and has practiced orthodontics for 30 years and has completed over 2,000 cases. He graduated from Wichita State University in 1976, and the Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1980. He has completed the Master Program in implant dentistry at the GIDE Institute in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Newby practices multidisciplinary dentistry in Mount Hope, KS, a small community outside of Wichita with his associate Katie L. Neidig, DDS, an AOS member. Oister, DDS, graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Biological Sciences before pursuing her dental education at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Additionally, she earned a Fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), by completing 500 hours of continu-ing education focused on cosmetics, orthodontics, oral surgery and endodontics. It was Dr. Oister’s love of working with people and her interest in the medical field that led her to a career in dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. She has operated her practice, JKO Family Dentistry, for over 25 years. Marisa Grace Porter, oversees development of digital strategy for our dental practice marketing programs. As Chief of Creative Strategy and Senior Content Writer, Marisa is a story-teller at heart, and she thrives on telling a practice’s story.
