The significance of this is that the skeletal response to orthodontic treat-ment will not be significant. The bottom line to the above Sassouni Plus cephalometric jargon is that the patient possesses a short maxilla that is positioned properly posteriorly but is deficient anteri-orly. The mandible is positioned correctly anteriorly, but is slightly long posteriorly.
