CASE STUDY Her lips are balance with a beautiful profile. Her dental occlusion is a solid Class I and her 7’s have erupted into normal functional position. There is correct canine rise right and left and incisor guidance on protrusion. She has beautiful face and smile, and as long as she does not experience a latent mandibular growth spurt, she should be stable long term. Every time I finish an orthodontic “case”, I am reminded that it is not just a “case” I am finishing; it is the face of a person who will carry what I have done for the rest of their life. Using the body of orthodontic knowledge helps us to become the artists that can create a masterpiece for each person we care for and give them a gift that will be a blessing for the rest of their life!
