He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1991, completed an AEGD residency program at the University of North Carolina, and joined Dr. Jim Dahm in practice in 1992. Dahm has completed the Dawson Academy curriculum for restorative dentistry and is currently a member of the Seattle Study Club program. His passions are helping children with facial growth and development and the combination of orthodontic care and restorative dentistry for broken down dentition. He is a life member and Diplomate of the AOS. Johnson completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado and his board certification in 2021. He remains with the Air Force a reservist and is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has a passion for treating TMJ disorders and has been involved with numerous publications and lectures on TMDs. As part of Dahm Dental, he serves the community in Pella, IA, and surrounding area. Matthew Standridge, DDS, FAGD, FICOI, is a private practice general dentist in rural Kansas and a member of the AOS. Brad Williams, DDS, graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1982. While in school, he was a contributing clinician to the Herbert T. Shillingburg, Jr., DDS, textbook entitled Restoration of Endodontically Treated Teeth . He has practiced general dentistry since 1982 and general practice orthodontics since 1983. Williams is active in the AOS, having previously served on the Board of Directors. In 2009, he was awarded AOS Fellowship and became a member of the AOS Academy of Diplomates in 2010. He is the AOS Senior Instructor for the basic and intermediate courses in Non-Extraction Straight Wire Orthodontics previously taught by the late Dr. David Jackson and Dr. Robert Gerety and teaches two alternating update courses for the AOS each year. Williams has taught for the AGD master track program in Texas and Oklahoma and has lectured on orthodontics and temporary anchorage devices at the Texas Dental Association meetings held in San Antonio. He has written and collaborated on numerous articles for the JAOS and been interviewed by Dr. Ed Gonzales on the AOS-sponsored podcast, “Orthodontic Smiles.” Kacy Jo Williams, DMD, is a recognized expert in airway-focused pediatric dentistry and functional frenectomy procedures. She has completed extensive post-doctoral training in tethered oral tissue assessment and management, including advanced education through The Breathe Institute, as well as additional specialized coursework with Dr. Richard Baxter, Dr. Tammarie Heit, and Dr. Chelsea Pinto. Williams has extensive experience with CO ₂ laser technology, including the Deka laser system, and has performed hundreds of frenectomy procedures in clinical practice. She works in close interdisciplinary partnership with lactation specialists, chiropractors, and other pediatric providers to support optimal feeding function, craniofacial development, and airway health. Williams serves as a faculty instructor at the Vivos Institute, where she teaches advanced hands-on courses in frenectomy evaluation and treatment within a comprehensive pediatric airway and growth-focused model.
