AOS MEMBERSHIP NEWS Your Association Continues to Grow Gregory T. Jeneary, DDS AOS President Happy 2026 to all AOS members. I hope the holiday season provided time to pause and enjoy friends and family. As we begin a new year, reflecting on the past and setting goals for the future reminds us of the growth and accomplishments that we often otherwise overlook. Looking back at 2025 and ahead to 2026, the AOS contin-ues to gain momentum. One major milestone was our first board retreat in many years, which allowed for meaningful connection and the creation of a strategic plan focused on our future and sustained growth. Members also gained valuable new benefits, including digital credentialing through the AOS Institute to streamline progres-sion from Achievement level to Diplomate, a new Practice Finder tool to help patients connect with AOS dentists, and expanded savings through our Industry Partner Network. Members can now save up to $3,000 when spending $20,000 on products using their member discount code through Ortho Arch—a discount that more than covers the cost of membership. Several goals set during the retreat are already taking shape in our 2026 continuing educa-tion offerings. In July, Dr. Susan Tiede will launch an Early Treatment of Malocclu-sions course focused on Phase I treatment for pediatric and general dentists, emphasizing evidence-based decision-making and effective commu-nication with parents. Begin-ning in February, Dr. Matthew Strandridge will teach Master-ing Self-Ligation and Variable Force Systems, offering clini-cians efficient alternatives to traditional brackets and wires through a simplified, three-wire approach. For those unable to travel, online education is now avail-able through the JAOS , allow-ing members to earn credit while staying up to date on the current literature—all from the comforts of home. For in-person learning, I encourage attending one of our major meetings: the Spring Annual Meeting on April 17 and 18 at the AOS Institute, the Fall Annual Meeting from Sept. 17 to 19 at the Drey Hotel, and a TMD Symposium in June at the AOS Institute. Last year marked a signifi-cant step forward for AOS, and that momentum is already driving exciting opportunities in 2026. I look forward to meeting as many members as possible during my remaining two years as president. The American Orthodontic Society 2025-2026 Officers & Directors President Gregory T.
