Artificial intelligence is just one of the many transformations that has the potential to revolutionize countless aspects of our lives and practices. Biotechnology advance-ments and the growing influence of social media platforms on commu-nication and information sharing also highlight the fact that we live in an ever-changing world—a world where technology is constantly evolving and where your competi-tion is forever finding ways to improve and communicate. Consequently, what we know today won’t be enough for tomor-row. We must keep reading and learning. To help get to that next level with our practices and orthodontic treatment, we must find mentors and coaches who will assist us as we continue to improve and master the principles, new techniques and improvements that are being developed and introduced every day. We must have the courage not to be afraid of making mistakes, because we can always learn from them. Our industry has an immediate need for continuous learning and adaptation to keep up with chang-ing times. It is important to acknowledge and accept change as a normal part of life and learn new skills continuously to stay adapt-able. Fortunately, the knowledge important to you and your orthodontic practice involving new technology and information is brought right to you through the written and digital edition of this Journal and our great organizations. In this issue, you will find infor-mation from Dr. Yosh Jefferson on the Jefferson Ceph Analysis and Skeletal Classification System, a face-and health-focused diagnosis and treatment approach for your patients. Orthodontics is about more than just straight teeth, and we have also included an article from Dr. Tony Deluke, who offers ways to take your practice to the next level through Airway Func-tional Matrix-Focused Orthodontics. Dr. Matt Standridge, another great coach and teacher, also contributes to the issue, keeping us informed about new technology by present-ing an Orthodontic Pearl on enhancing your practice with the Shofo Eyespecial Camera. Another mentor and longtime orthodontic guru, Dr. Larry White, presents a case study involving Class II ther-apy requiring minimal compliance. Each year, our two great organi-zations hold an Annual Meeting and countless courses to keep you up to date so you can adapt to all that is new and necessary to survive in an ever-changing world. Change can be scary, and it would be nice if we could get by without it, but our orthodontic and dental careers are reliant on our ability to develop new skills and become lifetime learners. Lifetime learning means constantly acquiring new knowl-edge, because the world and our profession are always evolving, and we all want to stay relevant. Take a proactive approach, seek out new information and develop what you need to stay ahead of the curve. Continue to learn, continue to change, continue to grow, and let us continue to give you the infor-mation, courses and skills to do it. EDITORIAL STAFF Greg Cannizzo, DDS .............
