Gerber, DDS, is the clinical director of the TMJ and Craniofacial Pain Clinic where he provides treatment for orthodontics and TMD in Parkersburg, WV. He is the founder and director of the Center for Occlusal Studies an educational facility in Parkersburg, he is the past Director of Neuromuscular Orthodontics at the Las Vegas Institute and is a Certified IAO and AOS Instructor. He has lectured to distinguished groups, associations and at universities since 1984. In 1990 he was honored as the ‘Clinician of the Year’ by the American Association for Functional Orthodontics. He completed his pre-dental studies and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington. After earning his DDS from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry (Nashville, TN) in 2000, he completed a General Practice Residency in 2001 from the Indianapolis Roudebush VA Hospital. He currently owns two dental offices in Indianapolis and has been a member of the AOS since 2008. He has over 1000 ortho cases documented in Dolphin. Jennifer Rand, DDS, started her career in dentistry over 30 years ago, working in orthodontic offices in Texas and Oregon. After three years at the University of Texas at Dallas and six years at Baylor College of Dentistry, she walked across the stage to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery. That was quite a challenge when you have school-age children, and Dr. Rand said that she’s “So thankful for a husband who did more than his share to help me focus on school." In 2007 after graduation, Dr. Rand practiced dentistry in Collin County, TX for eight years. Dr. Rand has been working in Tishomingo, OK with Dr. Ron Austin since 2015. She and Dr. Austin are two of just a handful of dentists in Oklahoma that are certified by SoonerCare to perform orthodontic treatment, and they stay busy providing orthodontic care for patients in Southeast Oklahoma. Randy K. Newby, DDS, is a Diplomate of the AOS and has practiced orthodontics for 30 years and has completed over 2,000 cases. He graduated from Wichita State University in 1976, and the Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1980. He has completed the Master Program in implant dentistry at the GIDE Institute in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Newby practices multidisciplinary dentistry in Mount Hope, KS, a small community outside of Wichita with his associate Katie L. Neidig, DDS, an AOS member. Humberto Nunez-Gil, DMD, grew up in Cuba where he obtained a DMD from the University of Havana. After a mission trip to Venezuela in 2010, Dr. Nunez obtained a parole visa to come to the US. He then graduated in 2014 from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine. Currently, he is President of the Academy of Gp Orthodontics and has been a member since 2015. He received his certification as a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry in 2021 and his Fellowship from AGpO in 2022. He is a fellow of the International Implant Association and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Nunez Gil currently practices in Brownsville, TX as a deneral dentist with a focus in comprehensive dentistry, orthodontics and dental implants. He loves spending time with friends and colleagues during continuing education events.
