AGpO MEMBERSHIP NEWS Continued Academy Growth Offers Achievement, Success and Improvement Joe Fallin, DDS AGpO President Happy New Year from Texas — it is my honor and privilege to begin my new term as your President of the Academy of Gp Orthodontics for 2019. Welcome to all our new members. We are experiencing a good deal of growth at the Academy and there are several of you attending some of the courses that have started across North America. This past year, our comprehensive 12-session hands-on courses began in Seattle, WA, Minnesota, Collierville, CA, Toronto, ON and Orlando, FL. And, the courses will begin in McHenry, New York, Ohio, Ottawa, Raleigh and Tucson. New York, Raleigh and Tucson are three brand new locations that the Academy will begin teaching courses. So, in 2019, AGpO will have 16 locations now offering our hands-on courses in both the US and Canada. Watch for future information on our popular assistants’ course with Dr. Charles Young in Texas this upcoming July 25-27, 2019. Our Annual Meeting will be in Oklahoma City, OK this Fall from September 26–28, 2019. Our speakers will include Dr. Ron Austin, Dr. Ricardo Medellin Fuentes and Dr. James Jasper, inventor of the Jasper Jumper. In addition, there will be a presentation on the new Vektor Pro Appliance. As Benjamin Franklin said, “Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement and success have no meaning”. As we continue to grow, achievement, success and improve-ment are a key part of what we are bringing to our members and students.
