VALO Awarded the Pride Institute’s “Best of Class” Technology Award As part of a bi-annual Resident’s program, TP Orthodontics brought more than 50 orthodontic graduate students, representing 14 different countries from schools around the nation, to their corporate headquarters in Westville, Indiana. Unique to this program and adding to an already full agenda, attendees were able to receive valuable clinical and practice manage-ment information by participating in lectures and interactive sessions with some of the most recognized names in the industry. Drs. James Jasper, Daniel Rinchuse, Donald Rinchuse, Daniel German and Bradley Nirenblatt each offered their industry expertise through detailed lecture and interactive discussion with the residents. With well over 100 years of clinical orthodontic expertise, resi-dents received invaluable perspectives and treatment approaches on many topics including Class II correction, finishing solutions, and clinical applica-tions. “We couldn’t be more honored to Opal Orthodontics and Ultradent Prod-ucts, Inc. received The Pride Institute’s “Best of Class” Technology Award for VALO, Opal Orthodontics’ and Ultradent’s curing light, for the third consecutive year. The award is the highest honor for innovation in curing lights. Of VALO’s third consecutive award, Dr. Lou Shuman, president of The Pride Insti-tute stated that, “Our advisory panel deter-mined after a year of research and testing that VALO is still the most advanced curing light on the market, which is why VALO was selected as the winner of The Pride Institute’s ‘Best of Class’ Technology Award for the third year in a row. This is nearly unprecedented, based on how rigorous the selection process is —which speaks to the progressive nature of VALO’s technology.” The panel that selects the “Best of Class” winners consists of five clinicians with significant knowledge of and expe-rience in dental technology.
