Newman, DDS, graduated from The Baylor College of Dentistry in 1976. Dr. Newman has been a member of the clinical faculty of the University of Texas-San Antonio Dental School and the Baylor College of Dentistry. In addition he was the Director of Technical Service for Straumann USA for four years, Dr. Newman practiced general dentistry in Dallas, Texas for 14 years then in Seymour, Texas for the past 10 years. In 2003, he took Dr. Bob Gerety’s course and began offering orthodontics to his patients as a general practitioner. In October 2008, he received the AOS Diplomate Award in New Orleans, Louisiana.
