AGpO MEMBERSHIP NEWS Annual Meeting Fast Approaching I hope this message finds you well and that you’re enjoying the final stretch of summer. As we approach the fall season, I want to take a moment to connect with you and share some exciting updates from the Academy of Gp Orthodontics. First and foremost, mark your calendars for September 25–27 and plan to join us in Chicago for our highly anticipated Annual Meeting. This year’s program promises to be dynamic, educational, and inspiring. Highlights include Dr. Attila Nagy, DDS, MS, speaking on “Mastering Orthodontics: Diagnosis, Treatment Planning, and Successful Case Management”; Dr. Keith Wilkerson, DDS, MS, speaking on “Mixed Dentition Treatment to Resolve Crowd-ing and Eliminate Extractions”; and Dr. Chris-tian Diaz Laverde on “Biomechanics for Modern Orthodontics: Predictable Strategies for Complex Cases.” Alongside the lectures, our exhibit hall will be filled with top-tier vendors showcasing the latest innovations in orthodontic products and services. It’s an excellent opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow within our professional community. As I reflect on my time serving as President this year, I’m truly grateful for the experience and the chance to connect with so many of you. One of the most exciting develop-ments during my term has Kauser Bari, DDS been the launch of something AGpO President new: the Mastermind Group, which is included with membership. Once a month, our members are invited to join a live virtual study club to discuss cases and support one another in providing outstanding orthodon-tic care. The sessions include two hours of continuing dental education each month and provide a valuable platform for collaboration. Our group page also offers a way to stay connected and engaged between meetings. This initiative has already started building momentum, and I encourage each of you to take part. It’s just one more way the Academy is working to support and empower general practi-tioners in orthodontics.
