The panoramic taken near the end of treatment shows that the mandibu-lar second molars were not impacted (Fig. 27). Case 3 (Figs. 29-35) This is a full orthodontic case starting in the mixed dentition. This patient presents with collapsed arches, virtually no room for cuspid eruption, and terribly misaligned mandibular incisors (Fig. 30). Complicating matters further is the fact that this patient is slightly skeletally open but dentally deep and is a clockwise grower (Fig. 29).
