AOS MEMBERSHIP NEWS Clearwater Beach, DÉJÀ VU! Randy Newby, DDS AOS President The site of this year's AOS Annual meeting is Clearwater Beach, Florida from October 28-31. The meeting will be held at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa. Our last meeting at this location was in 2015 and was enthusiastically received by our members. That being the case, we rescheduled at Clearwater Beach for 2017, but hurricane Irma devastated the area, and the meeting was cancelled. In addition to having a strong program this year, the themes of reconnecting and togetherness will be paramount. It will have been over two years since our last AOS meeting was held in Washington, DC. Emphasizing these themes, our executive director Barbara Zuniga has organized two fun events at the site. On Thursday night after the welcome reception, there will be a beachfront cookout where we can watch the sunset as we reconnect. On Saturday night there will be a three-person ensemble providing music for danc-ing and listening at the beach. I have been assured by native Floridians that October is a great time of year to visit Florida as the oppressive heat and humidity will be long gone.
