Carapezza, DMD is a Diplomate of the AOS and has over 25 years of clinical experience in pediatric orthodontics and operates a successful private practice in Wayland, MA. He has degrees from Brandeis University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He served as a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and received a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Children’s Hospital. Dr. Carapezza is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine and a contributing editor to the Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry . His lecture experience includes the Senior Certified Instructor for both the American Orthodontic Society (AOS) and International Association for Orthodontics (IAO). Stanford Chen, DDS, FIADI, FICOI, practices general dentistry and orthodontics in Bellevue, WA. After majoring in Biology at UC Berkeley he went on to complete his dental degree at New York University in 2008. Upon graduating dental school, Dr. Chen practiced in California before moving back to his birth region in the pacific northwest to startup a joint practice which has been successfully ongoing for 8 years and received several local honors. With a keen interest in dental implant surgery and orthodontics Dr. Chen frequently combines these modalities to provide modern solutions for the dental problems of today. Dr. Chen has earned fellowships with ICOI and IADI and certifications with ALD, WCLI, DOCS and AMET. Dr. Chen continues to pursue several avenues of continuing education including with the AOS with the goal of providing comprehensive interdisciplinary treatment. Ralph Nicassio, DDS, graduated from UCLA in 1985. Dr. Nicassio has maintained a private practice focused on orthodontics and prosthodontics for 34 years. He has taught over 800 full days of continuing education in 19 different countries internationally and throughout the United States and Canada. He has been a consultant for fellow general dentists all over the world and has diagnosed over 40,000 comprehensive orthodontic cases. The objec-tive of his courses is to teach the Gp Orthodontics to the same standard of care as a specialist with clarity, wisdom and sense-of-humor. There is emphasis on customized orthodontic treatment planning to minimize the need for compliance and minimize treatment time. Roger Price has been involved in multiple areas of health for more than 60 years. With a background in Pharmacy, Physiology, Body Work, Nutrition, Behavior Modification, Stress Management and Integrative Health, and 20 years of day to day involvement in Dentistry, Orthodontics and Sleep Disorders, he is uniquely placed to see the ‘whole game’ as a spectator, rather than from the individual positions of the players. A highly sought after lecturer, speaker and presenter, with a quick wit and an engaging personality, his lectures are universally acclaimed and his writings enjoyed by many. He has a passion to see things change, and the emphasis moved from intervening and treating symptoms, to identifying and resolving underlying issues. Roy Rogers, DDS Dr. Rogers was born and raised in Boise, ID and received his Bachelor in Arts and Science degree from Brigham Young University in 1997. In May 2001, Dr. Rogers graduated from the Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical School of Virginia School of Dentistry with honors. He also completed specialty training in pedodontics at the university’s Department of Pediatric Dentistry and completed his board certification in pediatric dentistry in April 2007. Dr. Rogers is an active member of many different organizations including the American Dental Association for Children, American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, and he is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Orthodontic Society. Dr. Rogers’ lifelong passion for dentistry and growth and development is evident in the way he cares for each and every patient. In his spare time, Dr. Rogers enjoys golfing, fly fishing, outdoor sports and spending time with his wife, Becky, and their four kids, Austin, Ben, Danny and Emma. Maria Zavala, RDA, BA, has earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University, Long Beach. Maria graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at Cerritos College in 1991. With over 20 years of experience in the dental field, Maria currently works in a general dental practice and orthodontics. Maria has over teaching experience in orthodontics program for dental assistants and currently works with general doctors doing in-office consultations.
