AOS MEMBERSHIP NEWS Spring Ahead with AOS Spring has sprung. I hope every-one has been able to get outside and enjoy the beauty of nature as it awakens from its winter slumber and begins to grow and flourish. Spring has certainly sprung at the AOS, as well, with the recent completion of several courses and our Spring Diplomates Meeting. The growth of our organization over the past few years has been impressive, and the future looks even more exciting. The buds of progress from recent years are now beginning to blossom into visible, actionable results. I would like to highlight the growth the AOS has experienced and share updates from the Spring Meet-ing, along with the exciting offerings and member benefits currently avail-able. Last fall, we saw record enroll-ment in Dr. Brad Williams’ Compre-hensive Straight Wire, Level 1 course. It is great to see so many doctors learning how to deliver high-quality orthodontics from Williams. Dr. Matt Strandridge’s Aligner Bootcamp continues to be a favorite among doctors, and with the addition of his new Self-Ligation course and In-Office Aligner course, he will certainly stay busy. These are just a few of the many courses avail-able—be sure to visit the AOS website to explore these offerings and others not mentioned here. Our Spring Meeting was a great success, with strong attendance both in person and via livestream. This would not have been possible with-out the outstanding work of Execu-tive Director Nate Porter and his team at Jameson—many thanks to them. We were fortunate to welcome Williams, Dr. Ben Miraglia, Dr. Yosh Jefferson, and the legendary Dr. Larry White as speakers. The topics were wide-ranging, practical, and immediately implementable begin-ning Monday. During the Spring Meeting, Gregory T. Jeneary, DDS Porter also AOS President presented several updates to the AOS Online Institute and member portal. One of the most impactful improvements is a much more straightforward, doctor-friendly system for tracking and uploading CE while progressing toward Achievement, Fellow, and Diplomate status with the AOS. Members can now upload cases as they are completed, and the program guides them through the process with a clear outline and checklist. The coming months promise even more exciting events for the AOS. In June, we will host a TMD Sympo-sium featuring our own Dr. Jeff Dahm, along with additional speak-ers who are pillars in their respective fields. Having all of them in one location is truly an honor. This fall, our Annual Meeting will take place at The Drey Hotel, where the hospi-tality is second to none. With six restaurants and bars, multiple swim-ming pools, green space, a 32,000-square-foot fitness center, and in-room massage options, there is plenty to enjoy during downtime— or for a spouse attending the confer-ence with you. Please make every effort to attend one or both events. They will undoubtedly be a worthwhile use of your time. In addition, there will be the unveiling of something that promises to make life in the orthodontic world significantly more efficient. Stay tuned! As the spring season continues, I hope every AOS member has a wonderful summer, and I look forward to seeing both new and famil-iar faces at our upcoming events.
