Brian Machart, DDS Two-Year CE Course Graduates Two Doctors Two dentists recently completed their 12-session, two-year hands-on comprehensive course taught by Dr. Charles Young at the office of Dr. David Shim in Lithonia, GA. Both doctors earned a minimum of 155 CDE in orthodontics and related topics and passed a written and oral final exam. Congratulations to Dr. Ashwien Kanhai and Dr. Anqi Hu who achieved the Associate Fellow-ship Level of the Academy of Gp Orthodontics Tier Advancement Program. Both doctors are pictured with instructor Dr. Charles Young. AGpO has over 30 years experi-ence providing comprehensive orthodontic continuing education courses where students treat patients, not typodonts. These courses are designed to be the closest CE Course to an orthodontic residency for the General Practitioner. Our 12-session course meets one weekend every two months and consists of a Friday class-room lecture and a Saturday compre-hensive clinical hands-on training session with direct patient treatment. All patients, materials, and supplies for the clinical sessions are provided by the Academy. The next 12-session Hands-On Course begins on August 23rd in Chesapeake, VA.
