AGpO MEMBERSHIP NEWS Collective Intelligence: Learning Together For Better Outcomes Humberto Nunez-Gil, DMD AGpO President Continuing education has always been one of my top interests. The knowledge I have gained through the information, experience and pearls presented to me have been incredibly useful to both me and impactful to my patients. However, after learning from many experts and visiting many wonderful places, I have come to under-stand that the interaction with fellow colleagues is what really matters the most. I believe in organized dentistry and the power of the collective intelligence. Under the right circumstances and leadership, groups can be remarkably intelligent as a whole. The ability to act collectively to make decisions and solve prob-lems for the greater good of everyone within an organization has always fascinated me. I believe we have this ability and potential as AGpO members and as a collective group. Our next Annual Meeting is in Clearwater Beach, Florida. It will be another great opportu-nity to gather as a group, learn orthodontic and health-related pearls, and spend time with our fellow colleagues in a beautiful place. As AGpO President, I want to invite all of you to join us in September for some fun in the sun. This Annual Meeting will be like no other and I cannot wait to see your smiling faces again. Humberto Nunez-Gil Two-Year Hands-On Course Graduates 12 Doctors AGpO’s Comprehensive Hands-on Course was held in Visalia, California and recently finished on April 15, 2023. Twelve doctors graduated and earned their Asso-ciate Fellowship Status with the Academy of Gp Orthodontics. The course took place at the host office of Dr. Shawn Fox with Dr. Greg Cannizzo as instructor of the two-year program. A special thanks to Dr. Fox’s staff members Anna and Jarod who worked hard to make the clinical portion of the course run smooth and effortlessly.
