AGpO MEMBERSHIP NEWS Education Opportunities Are Plentiful; Book Your Spot Raphael Santore, DDS AGpO President Each quarter, I have the privilege of bringing you a message. Let me begin with a brief story: many years ago my young sons asked me, “How do I know when a girl likes me?" I responded, "When someone pays more attention to you than you pay to them and you put a smile on their face, they like you. So pay attention to them; it will reward you the rest of your life". I believe, in our case, that it is the AGpO. We care about you. We work hard for you because we are you. This year, we have two new 12-session hands-on courses in Atlanta, GA with Dr. Charles Young and in Rochester, NY with Dr. Nick Gardner. We have a 2022 Assistant’s Course run by our secret weapon, Dr. Charles Young in Plano, TX in July. We also have a new two-day Canadian Orthodontic Symposium to be held in May in which Dr. Fred Der and I will compare and contrast advanced straight wire techniques with clear aligners as force systems. That is a lot of action coming out of the AGpO, and it takes a lot of hard work. Besides all this, the rest of AGpO’s instructors are continuing to bring you quality orthodontic education that you can count on year after year. The question is: have you booked your spot at the AGpO meeting in September? Reconnect with old friends and make new ones. There will be so many good speakers, instruction and passion for our profession that I burst with pride and gratitude for all of us. See you in September. Get energized and make us smile. Remember, Cleveland is the home of Superman and he lives in the airport; you will see him there when you arrive.
