In this case I employed a Newby/Anderson Distalizer (Fig. 35) to distalize both maxillary first molars, the left more than the right molar, close to a bilateral Class I molar platform (Fig. 36-A,B). The ante-rior dental midlines are now coincident with each other and with the facial midline (Fig. 36-C).
