he Academy's Annual Meeting that was held in Houston, Texas on September 21-23 was a great success! There were 84 atten-dees, 14 of which were residents from the University of Texas Houston General Practice and Pediatric Residency programs. This was a record number of attendees for an AGpO meeting! The meeting agenda was focused on early treatment with lectures from Drs. Lenny Carapezza and T Keith Wilkerson. The Academy introduced its new Charles Yates Free Lecture Series with a lecture from Dr. Joseph O'Neil speaking about patient marketing and communications. The series will continue to be offered at no cost to Academy members on Sundays at every annual meeting conducted. As always, it was great catching up with old friends and meeting new ones! Next year’s annual meeting will be in Chicago, IL in August – hope to see you there!
