T he AOS/AGpO joint Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA was a huge success. Meeting in the beautiful Grand Hyatt Hotel in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, both groups shared a record number of speakers that included Dr. Brian Allman, Dr. Chris Kesling, Mr. Paul Gange, Drs. Elsa and Juan Echeverri, Dr. Bill Wyatt, Dr. Tim Shaughnessy, Dr. Leon Klempner, Dr. Arnie Weiss, Ms. Jane Johnson, Dr. Len Carapezza, Dr. Juha Varella and Dr. Sirku Laaksonen. Combine that with Dr. Lori Trost and Dr. Jim Ptittinen lecturing at the AOS Foundation-sponsored Dr. William E. Wyatt, Sr. Distin-guished Lecture Series, and atten-dees were treated to a plethora of orthodontic knowledge and experience. However, let’s not overlook the fun and cama-raderie that brings loyal members back each year. From the popular Atlanta Fish Market to the trendy Aja Asian-fusion experience, to the pulsating sounds of the Awards Dinner dance floor, memories were made at every event. Both organizations are already looking forward to next year’s meetings, the AOS in Memphis, TN on October 4-7, and AGpO in Houston, TX on September 20-22. Mark your calendar NOW!
